Mama D & The Vexations is making their way up and down the Morristown Line!
NYC commuters know this rail line well; the Morris and Essex Line of NJ Transit’s Midtown Direct connects the western suburbs with New York Penn Station. Before the mid 1990s, passengers on what is sometimes referred to as the “Green Line” could only get to the Hoboken Terminal, where they had to board a PATH train or ferry to reach midtown Manhattan. In 1996, service began operating directly to New York’s Pennsylvania Station, shaving at least 20 minutes off the commute to NYC and removing the need to transfer trains.
Some of New Jersey’s most quintessential towns have developed and thrived in large part to these rail stations, including dining and entertainment options. Mama D is proud to be performing in 5 of these communities over the next few months. Make plans for a great food and live music with one of NJ’s premiere party bands, making the following station stops:
Chatham Borough – 8/5/21
Morristown – 8/14/21
Madison – 8/20/21
South Orange – 8/28/21
Morristown – 9/11/21
Madison – 10/2/21
Maplewood – 10/2/21
Morristown – 10/30/21
Unlike the Morrsitown Line, no tickets are required! All shows are free and open to the public. Make sure you like the band’s Facebook page so you don’t miss any announcements about inclement weather or new show dates.
